Especially with her children and teenager clients, she avoids boxing them into a diagnosis or prescribed treatment plan, she treats them as fully unique individuals who are more defined by their strengths, capabilities and potential than by the problems that led them to seek her services.
Her therapy approach combines compassion, empathy and down-to-earth authenticity. By blending various psychotherapy approaches and techniques, she is able to best help a wide array of clients and personality types. Her diverse experiences, theoretical orientation, and skill all work together to help her clients triumph over their weaknesses, while putting them on a long-term path to good mental health.
Greta is considered a preeminent expert on the treatment of a wide range of childhood challenges and disorders. She earned her well-deserved reputation because of her ability to connect with her young clients, reach into their private world, and direct a therapy process that yields results – for the child, parent, family, school, and social environment.
